The Brigittine Rosary (also called the Brigittine or Carmelite Rosary) is a variation of the traditional Dominican Rosary, associated with St. Bridget (Birgitta) of Sweden in the 14th century and traditionally used in the Discalced Carmelite Order. It has six decades (instead of five), totaling 63 Hail Marys (to honor the traditional belief that Mary lived 63 years on earth) and 7 Our Fathers (to honor the Seven Joys and Seven Sorrows of Mary).

It is structured like the standard Rosary but with key differences:

• Six sets of 10 Hail Mary beads + a separator Our Father bead for each decade.
• An introductory Our Father + three Hail Marys.
• At the end of each decade, pray the Apostles' Creed (instead of the Glory Be).
